British Bangladesh International School & College aims at providing quality education that will prepare our students to cope with the demand of the 21st century without making them being uprooted from this soil and becoming alien to our own culture. It has been working since 1997 and has earned fame as one of the best educational institutions in Sylhet region. BBIS offers British curriculum from playgroup to O-Level (IGCSE) leading to A-Level under the University of London and these exams are conducted by British Council. BBIS also teaches kids from Playgroup to SSC (English version) under the National Curriculum of Bangladesh. BBIS is equipped with a rich library, science lab, and computer lab with access to the internet. For students, the institution has its own transport facilities and hostel accommodation. To develop the other faculties of students, the institution regularly organizes cultural programs and competitions like sports, quizzes, debates and extempore speeches etc. A set of very dedicated, trained, and qualified teachers are engaged to disseminate knowledge amongst the students of the institution. Provisions are also available for the teaching staff to undergo different pieces of training from time to time. BBIS started functioning at Housing Estate, Sylhet, where Junior Campus still exists. However by the grace of Almighty BBIS  constructed its own campus at Nibash C-12, Hazi Yakub Ali Road, Madina Market, Sylhet,  in the year 2010. At present, it is a three-storied building which will be extended up to the 5th floor shortly.
