Authorized capital 1000.00 million and Paid-up capital of the company is TK. 442.50 million. The registered office of the Company is located at 68, Motijheel Commercial Area (Level-15), Dhaka-1000. The operation of the company are being carried out through its around 35 nos. of branches located all over Bangladesh with Head office at Rashid Tower (3rd Floor), Plot# 11, Road# 18, Gulshan# 1, Dhaka-1212.

The main objective of the Company is to carry on all kinds of insurance, guarantee and indemnity business other than life insurance business like Fire, Motor, Marine, Engineering, Personal Accident, Contractor All Risk, Industrial All Risk and Health Insurance etc.

BNIC is listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange in Bangladesh on 21 April 2016 and enjoys ‘A’ class reputation. Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited is rated ‘AA-’ for the Long Term rating by the Emerging Credit Rating Ltd. ‘AA-’ express ‘Stable’ financial security characteristics and with which an entity is adjudged to have very good financials, claim paying ability and first rate operating environment.
