Central Medical College - CeMec, was established to address global advancements in medical education and technology, aiming to improve the current healthcare delivery system in Bangladesh. The primary objective is to transform our population into a healthy and productive force. Recognizing the limited seats in government medical colleges that prevent many brilliant and promising students from pursuing medical education, CeMec provides these students with the opportunity to achieve their dreams.

CeMec is committed to offering a robust academic profile for students in the medical field by facilitating better performance in medical education. Each department features a dedicated cell with excellent facilities for medical graduates to enhance their skills and knowledge.

At Central Medical College, we prioritize our students' academic growth and well-being. We provide comprehensive support, guidance, and counseling to help students overcome academic challenges. Modern teaching methods are extensively employed by our faculty to ensure effective learning experiences.

As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we aim to expand and enrich various sectors of the health industry through continuous development of our institution. We express our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for granting final approval to commence academic activities from the session 2004-2005. The mission of Central Medical College & Hospital is to educate selected candidates over five academic years, following the syllabus set by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) for the MBBS degree, conferred by Chattagram Medical University, Bangladesh. Post-graduation, students will undergo a closely supervised one-year internship to prepare them for high-quality careers as doctors serving the nation. 

Our goals include promoting and providing education in medical sciences leading to recognized graduate and postgraduate degrees, conducting research on prevalent diseases in the country, and improving the standards of medical education through targeted research initiatives.
