Established in 1954 as one of four experimental technical high schools by the government of Pakistan, Govt Technical High School, Tejgaon, Dhaka, has evolved into Government Science High School, Tejgaon, Dhaka, a renowned institution dedicated to academic excellence and holistic development. Over the years, the school has undergone significant transformations, transitioning from a high school to an intermediate college, and subsequently, adopting a separate administration as Govt Science College Attached High School.

Under the leadership of dedicated educators and administrators, including notable figures like Mr. Abdur Razzak and Mr. Md. Abdul Aziz, the school has maintained a tradition of academic excellence, producing successful graduates who excel in various fields. From diploma engineers to SSC examination toppers, the students of Government Science High School consistently achieve remarkable academic feats, often securing top positions in merit lists and obtaining GPA-5 scores with a 100% pass rate.
