Academic Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology/ Educational Psychology from any reputed university or international institution with good academic background. 
• Candidates having an advanced degree with experience in adolescent and adult mental health will be given preference. 

Experience Requirements

• Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 years of practical work experience in any large organization/educational institutes/ hospital/ health care organization.

Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency in English and good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, holidays, and emergencies, if required.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• The third division/class/ equivalent GPA of the candidates at any educational level will not be accepted.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing counseling/ psychotherapy to NSU students and employees (students priority) to promote their psychological well-being and improve their mental health status.
• Organize and conduct individual, group, and family sessions online and in person.
• Organize and facilitate seminars/workshops.
• Proper documentation and reporting to the immediate authority.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the administrative authority. 

Job Description

North-South University (NSU), the first private university in Bangladesh, was established in 1992 by the then Foundation for Promotion of Education and Research (FPER), a charitable, non-profit, non-commercial, and non-political organization. The FPER later was renamed the NSU Foundation and is presently called The North-South Foundation for Education and Research. The Foundation is comprised of a group of eminent industrialists, prominent patrons of education, notable philanthropists, widely experienced academics, and senior civil servants of the country. In the early 1990s, they had a dream to set up a world-class university as a center of excellence in higher education in the private sector. Their dedication, tireless efforts, and hard work paved the way for the approval of the establishment of NSU.
