The Editor of Ajker Patrika, Professor. Dr. Md. Golam Rahman is Bangladesh's leading educationist, media researcher, and communication expert. He has served as the Chief Information Commissioner of the Information Commission of the Government of Bangladesh, as the Chairman of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), and the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of the University of Dhaka. 

At present, Ajker Patrika is the 3rd largest newspaper in Bangladesh in terms of circulation number.
