About Us

Kurmitola High School and College, a prestigious institution in Dhaka, was originally established on January 1, 1948, on the eastern side of the then Kurmitola Railway Station. The school's foundation was the result of a concerted effort by local educationists to provide quality education to the children of the area and its surrounding villages. In 1952, the school had to be relocated due to the expansion of the Dhaka Cantonment. It was moved to a site near Khilkhet Puran Bazar in 1956....

Kurmitola High School and College, a prestigious institution in Dhaka, was originally established on January 1, 1948, on the eastern side of the then Kurmitola Railway Station. The school's foundation was the result of a concerted effort by local educationists to provide quality education to the children of the area and its surrounding villages. In 1952, the school had to be relocated due to the expansion of the Dhaka Cantonment. It was moved to a site near Khilkhet Puran Bazar in 1956. However, when land was again requisitioned, this time for the construction of Kurmitola Airport, the school found its permanent home at its current location in 1967. Kurmitola High School and College has a rich history of overcoming challenges and adapting to change, continuously striving to offer excellent educational opportunities to its students.
