Ms. Alya Fardous Azad is a renowned Clinical Psychologist. She appeared in many mental health related talk shows in different TV channels and different multinational companies. She is working as a Senior Counselor in  Evercare Hospital Dhaka. She has been working with the hospital since 2010. She leads a team of counselors and mainly works in the areas of psychotic, neurotic and psychosocial disorders covering a wide range of areas including depression, anxiety, anger, panic attack, substance abuse, dementia, personality disorder, phobia,conversion disorder, PTSD, PSD, OCD, schizophrenia, mood disorder, parenting problems, marital problems, family problems, adjustment problem, self-esteem problem, lack of confidence, child related disorders like: peer adjustment, ADHD, ODD, conduct disorder, mental retardationE.T.C.

Prior to joining the Evercare Hospital Dhaka, Ms. Azad counselled for the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka Community Hospital, Dorpon counseling center and Apon Drug Rehab Center for three years.Ms. Azad holds BSc in Psychology and MSc. In Clinical Psychology from Dhaka University. She took part in various training programs including Psychotherapy, qualitative research training, marriage counseling trauma therapy, suicide prevention, drug addiction, psychosexual disorder, adult clinical skills(covers clinical assessment psychiatric disorder as well as different chronic physical health problems and also covers formulation ABC and CBT model behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy), social skills and relaxation training, anger management, disaster management and neuropsychology. Ms. Azad participated and presented papers in several international conferences and journals.
